Biography
At the age of five, Léo Maindron began dancing jazz at the Delphine Letort dance school in France and continued his training in classical dance at the same institution. At the age of 12, he entered the Angers Regional Conservatory, where he remained for five years. In 2009, he transferred to the Paris Regional Conservatory to complete his jazz dance training. Léo Maindron studied at the Ecole Atelier Rudra Béjart in Lausanne in 2011, where he had the opportunity to dance with the Béjart Ballet dance company, notably in "Boléro" by Maurice Béjart. Three years later, he moved to the Tiroler Landestheater in Innsbruck, where he was part of the dance company for almost four years. There he had the opportunity to dance numerous roles, including "Petite Mort" and "Sechs Tanz" by Jiri Kylian or "Minus 16" by Ohad Naharin. Since then, he has appeared on the stage of the Théâtre Mogador in Paris with the show "Chicago", the musical "Ghost", "Les produceurs" and "Mamma mia". This year he can be seen in the musical MJ in Hamburg,
