GABRIEL MARSEGLIA
Gabriel Marseglia comes from Catanzaro, Calabria. He began taking ballet lessons at the age of 11 and completed his professional training at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan. In 2010, he spent two years at the renowned l'École-Atelier Ruda Béjart and had the opportunity to tour and perform on stage with the Béjart Ballet Lausanne for a year.
TRAINING AND BEGINNINGS
Gabriel became a member of the ensemble of the TanzCompany of the Tiroler Landestheater in Innsbruck in the 2014/15 season. There he took part in numerous productions, including Dante.Inferno,Peer Gynt, Mayerling, Macbeth, Midsummer Night's Dream, Frida Kahlo - Nueva Pasion, The Tempest, Terra Baixa. (Choreography: Enrique Gasa Valga). He has also appeared in Edith Piaf and The Silent World of Anne Frank (choreography: Marie Stockhausen).
Gabriel has also danced in choreographies by contemporary choreographers such as Uwe Scholz, Jiri Kylian, Nacho Duato, Ohad Naharin and Mauro Bigonzetti. He has also performed in operas such as Orphee et Euridice and Maria de Buenos Aires as well as musicals such as Cabaret, West Side Story and Chicago.
From the 2023/24 season, he will be working as ballet master and dancer for the Limonada Enrique Gasa Valga Dance Company, which was founded in 2023.

What is your favorite place in Innsbruck?
The Tiroler Landestheater was always my favorite place in Innsbruck.
What do you like about Innsbruck and what makes it so special for you?
Innsbruck is a small city. You can reach everything very quickly and it doesn't take long to feel at home.
What are your favorite leisure activities in Innsbruck?
I love spending time with my friends and Innsbruck offers many wonderful places where you can enjoy nature and breathtaking views. We are also lucky that we have the opportunity to go to the spa to regenerate and relax.
Where is your favorite place to eat and/or linger in Innsbruck?
I love eating at the Piano Café and spending a pleasant and relaxing evening there. It's a great restaurant with delicious food and very nice people. They also have the best schnitzel!
