INNSBRUCK WINTER DANCE FESTIVAL
Innsbruck dances - because dancing connects and touches.
This conviction led to the creation of the Innsbruck Winter Dance Festival two years ago. The vision was to transform Innsbruck and its surroundings into a stage for dance that brings people together across cultural boundaries and touches them directly through the language of the body.
When the Limonada Dance Company under the artistic direction of Enrique Gasa Valga kicked off the festival in February 2024 with the world premiere of Lágrimas Negras, nobody could have guessed how quickly this festival would become a permanent fixture in the Tyrolean cultural landscape. Enthusiastic audiences, sold-out events and the magical atmosphere of the city laid the foundations for a success story that is now being continued.
The second edition in 2025 continued this idea with great artistic radiance. With two world premieres - Dorian Gray and Boléro - as well as the international guest performance of Carmina Burana, Innsbruck once again became a vibrant center of dance. New venues, diverse side events and an audience that came from all over the world gave the festival an international dimension and confirmed its importance far beyond Tyrol.
We are now looking forward to the third edition of the Innsbruck Winter Dance Festival. From January 30 to March 8, 2026, the city will once again become a meeting place for dancers and dance enthusiasts from near and far. With passion, artistic excellence and the unshakeable power of dance, we want to build bridges and create unforgettable moments once again.
Welcome to the Innsbruck Winter Dance Festival 2026!
