Sandra Chamochumbi Castro comes from Lima, Peru, where she completed her dance training at the National School. After graduating, she attended the Cuban ballet school Estudanza program for two years. As part of this, she took part in various dance competitions around the world. In 2018, she won second place in the classical dance solo category at the Tanzolymp in Berlin. She was then accepted into the Berlin State Ballet School. After a year, she decided to complete her training at the Berlin Dance Institute. In 2021 she worked as a dance assistant for various master classes held at Budapest Dance Theater and Szeged Kortars Balett. In the 2022/23 season she became a member of the TanzCompany of the Tiroler Landestheater Innsbruck.

From December 2023, Sandra will be a permanent ensemble member of the newly founded Limonada Enrique Gasa Valga Dance Company.
