Simone Centonze

In the 2022-2023 season, Simone returned to the Italian musical stage with the show "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers," directed and choreographed by Luciano Cannito (produced by Fabrizio di Fiore Entertainment). In 2024 and 2025, he will reprise his role in the same show, playing "Daniel," one of the seven brothers.

In 2023, he was selected for the ensemble of the musical "CABARET" (produced by Fabrizio di Fiore Entertainment, directed by Luciano Cannito and Arturo Brachetti), which will be on national tour until 2026 with over 150 performances. In "CABARET," Simone plays the Kit Kat Boy "Victor" and is the understudy for the lead role of "Emcee," played by Arturo Brachetti.

In the summer of 2025, he made his international debut in West Side Story in Kufstein, Austria, produced by Operettensommer for the Musical Sommer Kufstein summer festival. Directed and choreographed by Vanni Viscusi, he once again plays the role of one of the Shark Boys, Anxious.

In 2025 and 2026, Simone will be part of the ensemble of the musical "Cabaret" at the Residenztheater in Munich (director: Claus Guth, choreography: Sommer Ulrickson) in the role of "Bobby," marking his first professional experience in Germany.

In addition to his artistic career, Simone completed his medical studies at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome in 2020.

In January 2026, he will specialize in pediatrics at the Università Statale di Milano.

Simone was born in 1996 and grew up in the province of Lecce (Italy). He has been studying classical and contemporary dance since childhood and completed his training at the Scuola del Balletto del Sud in Lecce under Fredy Franzutti. After graduating from high school, he moved to Rome in 2014, where he perfected his dance training and began studying musical theater at the A.S.D. Lydia Turchi Danza e Musical, graduating in 2016.

Since 2016, Simone has appeared in various performances of Michele Paulicelli's musical "Forza Venite Gente" and collaborated with him again on "Madre Teresa, il Musical," which was performed at the Teatro Olimpico in Rome in 2017 and again in 2023.

In 2018, he was part of the ensemble of the musical "West Side Story" directed by Federico Bellone. He played the role of "Indio" and performed in renowned theaters such as the "Maggio Musicale Fiorentino" in Florence and the "Carlo Felice" theater in Genoa.

In 2019, he toured with actor and director Gennaro Cannavacciuolo in his theater production "Allegra era la Vedova?" as a solo dancer.

Under the direction of Chiara Noschese and choreographer Fabrizio Angelini, Simone joined the ensemble of the award-winning musical Singin' in the Rain (Stage Entertainment) in 2019 and 2020, performing at the Teatro Nazionale in Milan.

Between 2021 and 2022, he appeared several times during Milan Fashion Week, performing as a dancer for brands such as BOSS (choreography by Alessandra Valenti) and ZEGNA (choreography by Sadeck). He also appeared in the premiere of Alessandro Cattellani's TV show "Da Grande" on RAI1 and in the promotional broadcast for Steven Spielberg's "West Side Story," which aired on SKY Cinema Italia.
